#1 App of the Week – SD card Maid [ROOT]
Is your Android device lagging with a tremendous amount of Junk files? Then it’s time to clean up those Junks using SD Maid.
SD Maid is a powerful app for a rooted android device that optimizes the database, search for leftover data from uninstalled apps, removes the duplicates, Controls the app behavior and much more.
The Coolest part is that you don’t need to use this app every day. My recommendation will be once a week.
In this article, am going to show you how to use SD Maid to improve the performance of your Android Device.
NOTE: – SD Maid works only with Rooted Android Device.
1. App Control
App Control allows us to control the behavior of an individual app.
You will see the list of apps with its current state when you open an App control from the Menu. Select any app that you prefer to control, here you will be able to see the App status, Permissions granted for this app, Its size and which part of app is consuming more data.
At the bottom you will be able to access some powerful features like Killing an app, Force Stop, Exporting the .apk file, freezing the selected app, Resetting the app to its first install (Removes all the updates).
Apps that are uninstalled from your android device will always leave some traces of data, crash files, logs etc. These are not automatically removed from your system.
Corpse finder scans the Entire System and removes all those junk files safely.
3. System Cleaner/AppCleaner
Deep system cleaning is done by system cleaner and this removes all the additional files that are not required for an application. This also clears the cache and gives a performance boost.
Duplicates scan the system and look for all the duplicate files. It also compares the checksums and the exact size to avoid accidental deletion of your files.
This will optimize the databases by using SQL command VACCUM and this improves the performance of your device by several folds.
